Madonna di Campiglio
The only real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes..
Marcel Proust
The nickname “Perla delle Dolomiti” (pearl of the Dolomites) is perfect for Madonna di Campiglio – leading location in the Dolomites – since it stands at 1550 metres of altitude in the basin that looks out to the Adamello and Dolomite groups and offers many social events and occasions for you to relax. It was a holiday destination even for European aristocracy in the nineteenth century and ever since then, Madonna di Campiglio has been visited every year by many tourists arriving from all over the world, including many vips, attracted by its history, by the nature that surrounds it and by its night life and internationality. For these reasons, it has become one of the most famous winter locations of the international jet set
Madonna di Campiglio can boast:
- 36 slopes for a total of 60 km – that become 120 thanks to the connection with Folgarida Marilleva (without even having to take your skis off) that are suitable for all levels and go up from the centre of the village right to the top of the Dolomites, Adamello and Presanella glaciers.
- 22 ski lift systems, skiing schools with over 300 instructors, 5 cable cars, 5 ski lifts, 12 chair lifts
- The new Madonna di Campiglio, Val Rendena, Val di Sole Skiarea, is a very big project that will be launched in December 2011 and will guarantee skiers the chance to ski on 150 km of slopes without having to ever take their skis off, and 59 ski lift systems that will make it the biggest skiing resort in Trentino.
- 3 snowparks, , among which the very famous Ursus Snow Park, with its 70 thousand mq for free stylers.
